RE:Smallies at American

Good luck to ya 907fisher. I havent been out there in a long time.Look for the fish in deep water near structure. Find rock. I have caught smallies in 20-30ft in winter but they move there to feed, otherwise they should be around 50ft until the water warms a little. I am willing to bet the water is ...

RE:Anyone ever try the River 2 sea Swimbaits?

AMX, that looks like a BBZ and it is great trust me. I like the bbz 6 inch fast sink. As far as the river to sea swimbaits go fish-n-fool, They are great but the fins break off easy which dont bother the bass none. The floater chambers do slowly fill with water once they are taken under. I have two ...

Fish-n-fool The bossymark is a great swimbait. I like the eight in floater the best! Here is a bossymark with an 8.4lb largie caught this summer. RE:Frustrated with big bass just following

Eoso, A year ago I was in your same position. I got so many follows. This year i have dedicated my time to learning more about my swimbaits. First listen to tag and jeremiah's advise. They are spot on. Most of the time it is not a follow up bait that will do the trick. If they follow they are intere...

RE:Summit Lake Bass??

Nicely said Tag! Grubinit- Do you have the oppurtunity to prefish it? That is one of the best things you could do. Just go fishing for fun and you could find that you had all the tools you needed and if you went blind and off some advice what if it was something you weren't confident in and no real ...

RE:topwater

Like A few have mentioned already. I fish a spook religiously. If you don't wanna mess around with too many small fish get the 5" spook. Its the only one I use. Yes, I can still get small ones on it but not as much. The smallies don't really take the spook as well as the largemouth. So the hook up r...
