You just missed out on a killer deal for the Cabela's AGM battery. They had their group 30 on sale for $160. That's assuming you want to lug around a ~80lb battery.... The specs on that blows the Optimas out of water. You can also get standard cells if you're on a budget from Costco, Walmart, NAPA ...

Optima batts are sold at my local car parts store so I can check them out.

I can charge these with a standard car battery charger correct?

Really hated to see this... Caught a trout today that was suffering from obvious fishing line damage. Check out the picture...right behind the gills. It goes all the way around its body. Its sad to see trout that have been effected by irresponisible fisherman. This trout I caught today had line wrap...

I agree with Shad_Eating_Grin. Now is a great time to hit up those year round lakes. Less people at the lake, and your going to get bigger fish.

Im going to try to catch a stocker this april by trolling with a beer can tab. Probably will work.

I just picked up some of the Grn/Chartreuse 3" trout worms at Wal-Mart. Can't wait to try them out. My question is on the package it says floating. If these babies float then why use a bobber? And if you plan on using the bobber, would you just split shot it to keep it from floating next to your bob...

First post here. I went fishing yesterday after noon and have not fished since october. I had my regular PB set up when my girlfriend talked me into adding a honey worm to my normal rig. I thought...what does she know....ok just to make her happy, I did it. Well it payed off. Caught two 13.5" holdov...
