Check the regs first. I've only fished it for the March season but I heard it shuts down in mid-August and then may/may not open in October for steelhead.

Mardon resort organized the building and installation of habitat boxes that added structure back to Potholes Lake. I beleave about 1000 of them . If I remember correctly Heather Lake has brookies in it. I think I caught some back in 95 or so when we camped up there. The fish weren't big so we never went back. Heather is a Granite Falls area lake.
