Re: Wintertime blues

Nah, I am good. Steel to me still rank as one of the hardest fighting fish out there, I caught a king that was 26 lbs on the scale that pales in comparison to the 17lb steel i got last March- both from the bank, on the same gear -. Not to mention that it is very possible to have a double digit salmo...

Re: Wtb Drift Boat

Bodo-
Yeah, all the jets I have been in are bigger (one 21' and one 23'), and just heard them say things about shallow spots. And no, sure not party to any vandalism, don't even agree with it, just know it goes on. Would actually be nice to have both a drifter and a jet- may be one day!

Re: Wtb Drift Boat

Bodo: Re: Go places drift boats only dream of- gotta disagree with that one- how about low water? How about smaller streams, i.e. Kalama. Yeah man, I got the same itch to get away from crowds, going to eastern washington this weekend to test, maybe buy a drift boat. You can also bobberdog, back troll, and most other things that jet boats do, just more peacefull and obviously more affordable. Really, I noticed boats all over the place,...

Re: flossing/snagging

To EAMON- No, I actually mean that I walked up to them and watched them and talked to them. The guy asked me as I walked walked up if I was a cop. Then he told me after I said no that he has two strikes in the state of WA for snagging. They weren't using jigs, they were using long leaders with a sin...

Re: flossing/snagging

I actually created a username just to weigh in on this. I used to be a die hard float fisherman. It was partly because it is really effective and partly because I couldn't figure out drift fishing, swinging at bumps that weren't fish, throwing my arm out of socket for nothing, comin home with a sore...
