Guide Service on the Humptulips?

My dad is coming to Seattle during the first or second weekend of November. He has never caught a Salmon, and I am no salmon fishing expert. I was thinking about hiring a guide and going out on a river, perhaps the Humptulips. Is this a good river to Salmon fish for the beginning of November? Or wou...

Looking for a bass fishin' mentor

I live in Seattle and normally go bass fishing in my small inflatable boat with my girlfriend. I love bass fishing, but am not too good at it. I accidentally showed my gf some of the huge bass pics you guys post on here, and I'm afraid she now probably thinks I'm a total bass fishin' wimp. For Octob...

RE:7-inch Senko?

ChrisB,

I'm currently using a 6' 6" rod with 10lbs test. I'll soon be using a larger pole designed more for steelhead. What bigger line would you recommend for fishing big bass tackle including plastic frogs?

7-inch Senko?

I want to go after the big fish, both during the day and at night. I went to the local fishing store and was unable to find any 7" Senkos. I was thinking about buying these online, but was curious what colors people would recommend around here. I don't want to have to buy a rainbow of colors when re...

Yeah, that was me in the small inflatable boat. I think my girlfriend and I are going back this Friday evening, hope to see you out on the water. I released that fish, so hopefully we can catch it again in the future.

Cooler for a small inflatable boat?

I just bought a small inflatable boat and really enjoy bass fishing from it with my girlfriend. Night Hawgs?

I've been having decent luck catching bass towards sunset and am always sad to leave the lake at dark. This led me to think, how about trying to catch large bass at night. Can I get some recommendations for doing this. I own a small inflatable boat and have most my luck using plastics, but would lik...

RE:WL.com "Not Quite Trophy But Still Nice Bass Pictures" Gallery 2011

I went fishing with my girlfriend at a lake that is about 1 hour from Seattle. I wasn't having much luck and was worried my lady wouldn't think I was a real man. Finally, at sunset, I hooked this nice 17.5 fish under a dock in about 4 feet of water. The fish was caught on a rubber worm, and I was fi...

Small Inflatable Boat for Pink Salmon Fishing?

I recently bought a small, but tough, 3 person inflatable boat and was looking to take it Pink Salmon fishing with my girlfriend. I have a lot of experience with white water kayaking with a plastic kayak, but have not tried out an inflatable boat. I live in Seattle. How would the Snohomish be for a ...
