RE:?'s about gear I have but don't use...
Those Zipper looking plastics would be great on a Drop shot or even texas rigged. I'd eat'em!

RE:Crankbait Wealth of Knowledge
So, Dez and Mark...Congrats on the State team and all!!! Just for some background on the man who is behind crankbaitcentral.com. Dez and Mark helped introduce all of us to the "Rev Rig", but it is named after the website's designer I believe. Chuck "The Rev" Bailey. From what some friends of mine sa...

Crankbait Wealth of Knowledge
Another website about Bass fishing in the NW has been born. I local man who prides himself on cranking has started his own site all about them. I have not personally gone thru many of the articles, but, what I have read has been quite informative. Check it out!

RE:What do you get out of your bass club?
Some clubs can pair you up with more advance anglers like an Ambassador program. That is a good way to learn from some people. Just meeting like minded people and setting up a day to meet at the lake could get you going too. Fish-in's, a club day where people head to a certain lake and fish together...

+1 for Western.
I can not make too many meetings, or tourneys for that fact, but I have met so many good people. No pressure for participation in events, family is included in the membership fee (under $50) and our swap meet meetings are awesome!

I don't want to sell anyone out, so you are going to have to work at it to get the info from me, but look at FISHNISLIFE's signature. That's all I'm gonna say.

So, I have never fished Washington, I work in Renton, and own an old Skeeter. Sounds like we need to hang out to me. Have you planned a day that you are having this outing because I may be willing to take a few minutes of your time.

UnderArmour "Bass" T shirt
This is for the bass folk out there: Half price on some Under Armour gear with such technology as UPF 30+ and Heatgear to keep you cool when it is warm. I know that some of us are not as fit as professional football players who you see on television wearing the skin tight Under Armour shirts, but fe...

RE:Drop Shot Help for Smallies
You have a great start on the setup, maybe it is your bait selection that is making things difficult. I usually have one of the following plastics on my dropshot rig: Small Senko (3" or 4"), Yamamoto Twintail Grub (5"), Sniper Bolt, a Panic Minnow, locally made West Coast Custom Tackle Western Fines...

RE:Carolina rigging questions
I never did mention the size of my leader, but it is easily been 2-3 feet. I was actually tossing right down the cement boat launch, believe it or not. I have found that there is a bunch of riprap and broken concrete at the end of the ramp. Add to that a ton of weeds 5 or so feet from there and I ha...

Carolina rigging questions
So, I always have Carolina rig loaded in the boat, usually in the very bottom of the rod locker. Yesterday, I got bored here at the house and while the wife was busy typing away on the computer...I went to the lake and shore fished. I might also add that I fished from 2030 - 2300 in the dark. I took...
