RE:Low Life Battery
Joe, Is there a possibility that the battery has a cell or two going bad? This can be easily checked at any Shucks, Napa, or battery shop with a hydrometer. If a cell or two wont hold a full charge, they will drag down the battery's capacity as they work in series. Just something to eliminate. OBTW,...

Lowrance updates
Looking at downloading from the web an update for my 522c iGPS. Lowrance's web site says that they have figured out how to fix the shallow water with weeds (the sonar shuts down in those conditions) issue. But what I dont know is what I will lose (if anything) of my settings or waypoints if I upgrad...

RE:Can you help with my outboard electrical issue?
These guys have had some great ideas. Is there a possibility that your engine is DESIGNED to shut down when lifted up?. What I'm suggesting is that "element" of the "problem" may be normal. And the factor preventing the engine from shutting down when in the water or near vertical is something to do...

Oh man! I was hoping (wishing) that on todays recon to the lake I would find open water. Just kinda assumed that with the recent heat wave, LOL, that we have had on the east side that it would be open. Oh well, could break up the thin stuff with the boat. (I've done that duck huntin b-4) But like yo...

RE:Looking for a fishing partner
I just moved back to Spokane and would like to find a fishing partner with a boat. I sold my boat and have not bought a new boat yet. I am interested in fishing for bass around here and have alot of experience with the lakes around here. My favorite lakes to fish are Long, Silver, Banks, and Snake ...

That price at only one year old is a STEAL. I have the same unit. The GPS alone is worth the early morning runs to the prime spots. And when the fog rolls in on ya. I have had the fog roll in so thick on the Pend Oreille River that you couldnt see the bank when 30 yards from it. Got me back to the l...

We'll be trying teh Spokane arm first and then out to the big water if we find nothing in the arm. Eloika. Not a lot of water. But m...

Thanks for all the tips. Yea tnj8222, the ice is off my "home" lake to the point that I can put the boat on it. So, the next "decent" day. Gonna try my luck on those shallow flats. Figure to get an earlier start on the Pend Oreille River this year as well.

Thanks BBD for the info. Take my notes out with me on the lake check. Pay attention to conditions check. Wont be at the sportsmans show this weekend. Too far to go. In March is the Big Horn show here in Spokane. Usually make it out there one day. Met Low Tech Joe, Marc Martyn, and Mike Carey at the ...

Another east side vote: Eloika Lake has been very very good to me as of late. A few tips on what to throw (color, size, speed, etc) has made a HUGE DIFFERENCE!! Hooked onto for as little as a few seconds a nice pig a few weeks ago. But, he caught me by suprise, wrapped be up in some of the caggage t...
