RE:92lb Carp with Bow and Arrow
IMO carp are no better (besides for angling purposes) than those ugly mean "snakeheads" that are spreading in the eastern U.S.! those things are nasty. i mean they look like something out of a horror movie. as a matter of fact some cheasy film producer actually made a "horror" film about them. the w...

the best rig i have ever used in the washougal is a egg drift set-up.
i have also used bluefox spinners.
its all about the time of day, water conditions, and strength of the run.

RE:92lb Carp with Bow and Arrow
I think the funniest part of this whole 92lb carp deal is that in the article i read, the angler/bowman claims he ONLY shoots fish for fun because :geek: !!!HE IS ALERGIC TO FISH!!!!!! :geek: THIS is the bottom line. CARP DO overrunn waters they are not supposed to be in so technically speaking they...

RE:Vancouver area lakes Crappie or Bluegill???
Lacamas is the best crappie producer near Vancouver unless you go to Silver Lake. Water temp is fine for crappie, now. In the lakes, that is. Where in Lacamas :-" for Crappie do you fish? Its a big lake and I will be fishing from shore. I know its hard to share secret fishing spots...... Jay i am g...

dont under estimate carp until you catch one for yourself. they fight harder then a smallmouth and get pretty large (like 92lbs)
go catch one and you will never say the above again i promise.

RE:Rainbows with stripes...
there is one way to reduce the chances of getting these marks on your trout. dip your hands in the water before you grab them to de-hook, put on stringer etc. the marks are from your salty dry hands, they suck the oozey slime of the fish off which usually protects their skin/scales from drying out/g...

You know, that is a great way to introduce yourself and let them know about WL.com and then ask if you can leave them, and, if they have a bulletin Board put a few up on it. I'm betting those 6 cards disapered pretty fast. yea i personally handed a few out to anglers on the dock, and then as i was ...

My favorite bait would have to be anything soft and plasticy. Senkos, Zoom lizards/brushhogs, Zoom 10" worms, Berkley powerworms.
i also like to throw crankbaits and spinnerbaits when conditions are right but most of my days start with plastics of some sort.
