above Ice harbor dam, from what i've been told the snake is a little cooler in water temps than the columbia. McNary is good too.

my brother went the other day and i caught one steelhead and missed two take downs and saw 7 other steelhead caught. i plan on going this weekend.

if your going to fish from shore with shrimp and bobber i would set your stopper to about 8 to 12 ft, the steelhead this early in the year will be a little deeper because of the warm water temps.

I think the snake is close till september 1st for steelhead might wanna double check the regs tho.
