Re: Mandate Barbless Hooks For Lake Sammamish
As a bass fisherman that fishes Lake Sammamish A LOT, I have no problems with barbless hooks. I'm not doing this for a living or tournaments. It's just a hobby for me. I just like to be out on the water and catch some fish. I do what I can to minimize the damage to fish I catch, such as pinching my ...

Re: 404 Page
Hmmm, going from the top of the page in Research works. But if you use the "Quick Links" on the left side "Research", I get this error. Try the "Quick Link" on the left and see if it works for you.

This happens with Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. I'll be logged in in the reporting section, but as soon as I go into the forum, it shows I'm not logged in and have to log in again. Also, even though if i check the box for stay logged in, it doesnt appear to keep me logged in bc I'll have to log back in...

Re: Newport Canals On Lake WA Private Property?
Damn, should have fished it this morning then. I know i fished it a few years ago, but didnt see this sign. I do remember the house at a bend of the canal that had a sign, but the sign i'm referring to is at the mouth on the north side. I wasnt sure, so i respected the sign.

Newport Canals On Lake WA Private Property?
Or can you fish it ? Saw a sign out on the front stating "private property and no trespassing" but I dont know how legitimate it is. I thought if it was part of the lake with access, it's fair game?

Re: Mosquito repellent
Nothing works for me, those buggers love me. Best to minimize bites so far is using our ThermaCell, Dr Bonners lavender soap, Deep Wood spray and wearing long/thick clothing if appropriate.

Don't think its a bug, but just a suggestion. Would be easier to view where ever the report is. Can't even highlight the URL with my phone or tablet. I'm sure it'll be fine with a mouse and cursor.

Re: How To Safely Release A Bass That Needs TO Be Fizzed
I don't know how deep that bass was caught in, but I've yet needed to fizz a bass. Got a kit that's still in its package. Ive caught them as deep as ~45'. I don't catch a lot of fish though. Ive had issues with perch in as little as 20', but ill just feed the birds with those.... Edit. Congrats on t...

Re: Bumping Lake Camping and Fishing
Not necessarily "double bummer" if you bring your own flushing toilet sound effects *lol* :-" USFS campground on Bumping has Vault toilets only, No known campgrounds within 25 miles that have flushing toilets. As for fishing I've only only seen trout and kokanee. Double bummer, lol. Yeah, that wont...

Bumping Lake Camping and Fishing
Is there bass at Bumping Lake or will I have to dust off the trolling gear.
Also, I see the "Marina's" campground. Only portable toilets.
Is there a campground there or near there that has flushing toilets?

Re: Just How Dumb Is It To Camp During July @ Potholes?
I was down at MarDon's yesterday visiting with vacationing extended family. It was windy on both Sunday and Monday. Yesterday we got to watch a couple of "flying" canopies that weren't staked down good enough. Saw a "palm tree" umbrella get turned inside out. Temp was a balmy 79 degrees and pleasan...

Re: Lakes with a dock at WDFW boat launch.
Which one is wrong? They have a contact email you can send in error reports. Ive reported a couple. Sometimes it takes them a long time to get it fixed unless its just a website error. Website errors get fixed pretty fast, but if someone has to go inspect a site that can take forever. I suspect the...

Re: Lakes with a dock at WDFW boat launch.
This website has every boat launch in the state listed with a description of whats there and details about the launch condition, bathrooms, docks, if its ADA compliant, etc etc. Its a good idea to double check with a Google Earth look to get a better picture of whats its like. They often list phone...

LOL I was just thinking. I'm pretty sure I made a comment or question about this years ago, with all our recent news and such about gender.

Re: Sunlake State Park?
We got tv with our Dish Network Tailgater, it was fine. It looked to me like tents were only allowed in the upper area if it was with an rv on the same site. You are right about close quarters. On a scale of one to ten I would rate this place about 3-4, its definitely not a fishing resort its more ...
