Long Lake is in the seep lake area near Othello. If you look on a map of the potholes, Sage Lakes are about 200 ft. from Long Lake and Canal and Teal Lakes are nearby. Heart is just up the road as are Windmill and other walk in lakes. Many of the lakes in that area are connected or next to each other. You'll also see it listed in the warm water species section of this site. Camping and two pit toilets are available at Long Lake. It is connected via an irrigation canal at the North and South ends to Soda Lake (north) and Canal Lake (south). It also includes a good gravel boat launch.

Species include Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Perch, and trout. Popular fishing spots include the road-accessible north shore, and by boat at the canal inlet stream at the top of the lake.
