Carney Lake is located about 4 ½ miles north of Vaughn. It covers 39.2 surface acres and is split by the Kitsap County/Pierce County line with 20.5 acres in Pierce County and 18.7 acres in Kitsap County. Fish species include rainbow trout and bullhead catfish. Public access is provided by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife. The small access area has limited parking space, a pit toilet and a very shallow boat launching area that is best suited for hand carried craft.
