Chico Creek is in Kitsap County just north of Bremerton. It shows on page 78 of the Washington Atlas & Gazetteer. It shows Wildcat Creek (from Wildcat Lake) and Lost Creek joining and becoming Chico Creek. Chico Creek then runs into Chico Bay. It is very popular with chum salmon anglers and this year (2008) for the first time in my knowledge there are a few Coho salmon mixed in with the chums. A permission slip (free and good for the entire season) is required to fish the lower end of Chico Creek and Chico Bay in that area. Fishing dead lines are posted at lower end of the creek. Road side parking is somewhat limited. Bob Johansen
